As you know I don't normally favourite still life, but this shot is absolutely stunning. The composition is extremely well thought out, and the texture of the middle fruit and front fruit, including the angle of the front fruit, turn this into a still life "Master Piece", worthy of hanging on any wall. The lighting of the fruit is also inspired with the slightly lighter forground showing the shadow the the fruit to perfection. The darker background hightlighting the beautiful colours of these fruits, (I'm saying fruit but I acutually don't know if they are?). Altogether a beautiful piece of work to view and I don't know why, maybe the colour of the fruit, but evokes a feeling of happiness.
